Ballet

Learn the foundations of ballet including the positions and lines, alignment and basic ballet steps in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The class builds poise, grace & greatly improves posture - toning & lengthening your muscles resulting in a leaner & more elegant body.

Burlesque & Cabaret

Release the showgirl in you! For those who want to try something new and a tad bit risqué, why not try our Burlesque classes? Burlesque dance has recently regained popularity due to celebrities like Dita von Teese, the Pussycat Dolls and Christina Aguilera. The Burlesque classes will help you feel sassy & confident and get you fit & into shape. Each class you will learn an exciting new routine that will leave you confident and having had a bit of a workout. Burlesque lessons are a fabulous way to have fun, meet new people and feel good about yourself. So come and learn how to shimmy and shake. Don't worry if you have 2 left feet, you don't need to be able to dance, the routines are broken down and kept quite simple.
This is a ladies only class, sorry guys. For 16 years to 60 years plus. All shapes, sizes, fitness levels, abilities are welcome. Just come down with the intention to have a giggle and a laugh. You need to make sure you're wearing comfortable clothing. We recommend wearing general gym gear, although if you'd like to wear something a little more glamorous to build your confidence that is fine, but please make sure it's comfortable and you can move freely in it. You do not need to bring any high heels. You do need to bring a pair of gloves, ideally a pair of burlesque / opera gloves. Also, on one of the classes you'll need to bring a pair of stockings or hold-ups and a tie.

DRU Yoga

Designed to be practiced by people of all abilities, all fitness levels and all age groups, Dru is a style of yoga that can be quickly dipped into or learnt in more depth over a lifetime.
In 2005, 450 graduates and participants in Dru Yoga Courses all over the world were asked about the effects of their practice.

GB Pilates

GB Pilates is taken by two experienced physiotherapists qualified with the Australian Institute of Pilates. Classes are designed to improve core stablity, posture, strength & muscle tone. Beginners & intermediate classes are run over 6 week blocks.

Modern Pilates

A workout to strengthen core muscles (stomach, back & legs) and increase flexibility. Please see Modern Pilates web page.

Pole fitness

We've taken pole dancing out of the clubs, and brought it to the gym, opening it up to everybody as a fantastic, alternative way to shape up, lose weight and get fit. Pole fitness is a total body work out that is fun and really gets results. It tones and strengthens your whole body, develops your co-ordination, improves your stamina, helps burn lots of calories and even flattens your tummy. Our pole fitness classes are friendly and supportive. You'll meet new people, have lots of fun and have a great workout. All classes run in blocks of 5 week courses. Advanced booking & payment is required.

Yoga, Stretch and Pilates Conditioning

Relaxing, uplifting but challenging class to improve flexibility, posture and strength in the abdominals, back and legs. Includes both yoga and pilates moves. Classes last 80 mins.

Zumba Dance Fitness

Zumba Fitness® was created in the mid-90s by Colombian native Alberto “Beto” Perez, a celebrity fitness trainer and choreographer for International pop superstars. It has become one of the fastest-growing, dance-based fitness crazes in the country, with people of all ages falling in love with its infectious music, easy-to-follow dance moves, and body-beautifying benefits.
